About Us
equity101 has been developed by the National Centre for Student Equity in Higher Education in consultation with key stakeholders. The National Centre for Student Equity is hosted by the University of South Australia.
The development of equity101 has been made possible by a grant from the Australian Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations. Education.au developed the site on advice from the National Centre. The site is consistently undergoing rigorous testing to ensure that Level A accessibility standards are met. The site has been tested in key browsers including Internet Explorer 6.0, 7.0, Safari and Firefox. The site will be monitored, using Google analytics for reporting, to ensure best possible application for the equity community.

My101-101 things to know- 101 things to do- 101 it’s about entry- 101 it’s about participation- 101 it’s about a place to start.
The decision to name the site equity101 was careful and thoughtful. The name invites visitors to refresh their ideas around equity, to make the familiar unfamiliar and look at equity spaces and practices in new ways.
