NoThis report sets out to identify and describe evidence-based teaching practices which have proved effective in improving the motivation, engagement and academic and social outcomes of boys, particularly those boys at risk of disengaging from school-based learning activities. The report highlights whole-school policies, practices and interventions that are designed to encourage every student to feel that their school is a place that "works for them", and that education is opening up opportunities for them to be rewarded and successful.
