The conference will provide a forum for all VET professionals to develop new skills and to update their existing knowledge of the VET sector. The structure of the 2010 conference enables delegates to choose their elective sessions on the day, developing their own personal learning plan as the conference progresses.

In 2010 this conference will diversify to meet the needs of all schools where ever they stand in the interactive teaching and learning continuum. The 2010 BAICE conference will provide an opportunity for investigating educational processes and their impact on exclusion and inequalities from multidimensional and multidisciplinary perspectives. We aim to broaden the debate beyond schooling, to include higher education, adult education, and informal learning (through the media, community institutions, development projects, etc).

The conference will provide a forum for researchers, teaching and learning scholars, practitioners, university managers and government department officers with interests in student equity in higher education, to engage in substantive discussions about these concepts that are redefining the field.
